Ibiza on the water

Es Vedra is theérock in the water that everyone is always talking about. This ‘magical’ or ‘mysterious’ rock is a good oriëntation point. Most holidaymakers to Ibiza take a picture from the island with Es Vedra in the background, but of course it is véél more fun to do it from a boat!

The sunset at Cap d’es Falco is ééone of the most popular places to enjoy the sunset.  The sun here disappears behind a beautiful rocky outcrop giving spectacular images. There's nothing better than ending a day's sailing in Ibiza this way!

Beaches of Ibiza

Beaches that are easily accessible when you are boating include Cala Bassa and Cala Jondal. The latter is known for Blue Marlin and beach club Tropicana, this bay is home to ’s huge number of large yachts in summer. Very nice to sail through here or have lunch at Tropicana! Formentera

This ‘little brother’ of Ibiza can be reached within a half-hour boat ride. It is a great little island with beautiful nature and an azure sea. It is definitely worth visiting this island when you are sailing. It is not for nothing that the beach Platja de Ses Illetes is on the UNESCO World Heritage List! Visitors to Tripadvisor have voted this the most beautiful beach in Europe, and 2nd most beautiful beach in the world!

Diving in Ibiza and Formentera

If you are a dyed-in-the-wool diving enthusiast and have taken your gear on the boat during a day's sailing on Ibiza and Formentera, head to these 3 hotspots and experience a breathtaking undersea world!

The ship Don Pedro is a favourite with many. This ship is almost 150 metres long and lies at a depth of 46 metres deep! The ship was wrecked in 2007 and is located near Ibiza Town, everywhere you look, and especially if you look inside you will see something special every time!"

The Don Pedro ship is also a favourite of many.

Fish Farm is also very well known to many divers, this is located near Formentera. Around 2000, there was a gigantic storm that caused this fish farm to be immortalised with the seabed. Are you looking for barracuda’s? Then be sure to go diving at this Fish Farm!

A natural hotspot in Ibiza is the Lighthouse Reef. This is located near Cala Martina and gets its name from the lighthouse that lies on the seabed.
