Preveza
Preveza is a town in western Greece with around 20,000 inhabitants. Near Preveza is the Aktion International Airport, which is most used by holidaymakers from Lefkas. Should you land here and have some time to kill, there is plenty to do here. It's great walking through the narrow streets. And check out the 1752 Venetian clock tower, the 18th-century Venetian fortress Agios Andreas and stately mansions from the 19th century.
Lefkas Town
Lefkas is the only island in the western side of perfect starting point for a sailing trip around the Ionian Islands. With easy mooring facilities and sheltered anchorages and the rest of the neighbouring islands within easy reach. The island of Lefkas
Dotted with small villages and coastal towns,Lefkas has a coastline of 117 kilometres and an additional nine satellite islands, including Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos and Skorpios. The latter is the private island of the Onassis family.

Porto Katsiki beach
One of Lefkas' biggest attractions is the beautiful Porto Katsiki beach. One of the most famous sights on Lefkas, this beautiful white-sand beach is surrounded by high cliffs and offers breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. The clear waters are perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling trips, and various water sports facilities are available for those looking for a more active holiday.
Sivota
To the south, just east of Vassiliki, lies the coastal town of Sivota, a place famous for its Caribbean-looking shores and crystal-clear waters. This coastal town lies in a large and sheltered natural bay on the southeast side of the coast. The island is hugely popular with yacht owners. Sivota hosts some of the most magical white beaches, and conveniently enough, a small harbour that provides a safe haven for your boat. An array of cafés and tavernas will satisfy your afternoon hunger, and later you will watch the village come alive as the sun sets.
Fortress of Agia Mavra
A beautiful fortress from the 14th century built by the Count of Orsini who received Lefkas as a gift from the Franks. The fortress of Agia Mavra is one of those sights on Lefkas that you can't miss when departing from Lefkas Marina. It is an excellent example of fortress architecture and still very well preserved. Numerous cultural events take place in Agia Mavra during the summer. This gives visitors the opportunity to experience the fortress from the inside.
Kathisma Beach
Kathisma beach on Lefkas is a wonderful sight on a sailing holiday. The beach is known for its clear blue waters and fine sand, making it perfect for a day of relaxation and sunshine. Moreover, there is plenty of room to anchor, making it an ideal place to stay for sailors. With several facilities, such as taverns and shops nearby, the beach is a complete package for an unforgettable sailing holiday. Just north of this beach, you can do some good kitesurfing.
Agiofili Beach
If you are looking for something smaller, Agiofili can meet your needs. Agiofili was previously known only to locals. It is a beautiful little beach protected on both sides by large rocks. This beach used to be accessible only by boat, but nowadays you can get there via a sandy path. You can anchor there just fine, but overnight stays are not recommended due to the swell. It is, however, one of the top sights on Lefkas.
