Slab Despite the €120 end-cleaning fee, the yacht was not delivered in a clean state. Upon boarding, the cockpit and cabin were full of animal hair. The galley was greasy, with dirty cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, and cups. The overall cleanliness of the cabins and toilets was unsatisfactory, and the bow toilet had a stale smell that persisted throughout the week. In addition, both water tanks were not properly filled. The forward tank was only 75% full, and the stern tank was completely empty. This required filling approximately 300 liters before departure. Several maintenance issues also became evident: The fridge handle was missing three out of four screws and broke shortly after. The mainsail is blown out and has lost its proper shape. The aft port-side cam cleat was missing. On the positive side, the engine and bow thruster worked reliably, the navigation equipment and depth sensor were in good order, and the yacht was equipped with up-to-date charts, marina information, and safety gear. Given the above issues, I must express my disappointment with the condition of the yacht at handover, particularly considering the additional cleaning fee.
