weer een nieuw prachtig zeilgebied, deze keer Biograd, eerste keer bareboat gehuurd (na 6 keer flottielje), prima bevallen. Zoals gewoonlijke alles weer prima geregeld via Tubber. (nu ook verzekering, vooral voor niet Nederlanders een pak gemakkelijker dan eigen verzekering nemen via Unigarant) Eerste keer een boot met airco genomen, was echt een gamechanger, zeker als de nachten niet echt koelen. (je moet dan wel steeds aan de wal met 230 volt) Prima dit jaar was de gratis betaalde account van Navily die we bij de boeking bijkregen, een musthave voor de mensen die bareboat huren. Filters juist zetten en kiezen maar. Via de Navily ook meerder havens kunnen boeken, vooral in het topseizoen een echt comfort. Deze keer een boot gehad van de maatschappij Angelina, werkelijk supergoed. we hadden op een bepaald moment een defecte katrol, een telefoontje, paar foto's via whatsapp en de volgende ochtend om 8h30 stonden de mannen bij ons in de haven op de boot met de juiste wisselstukken. Toch nog een uitsmijter over de reviews die je leest over service in diverse havens, in zijn algemeenheid is de service zeker ok en hoewel er soms havens - tankstations zijn waar er "nen ezel" aan de kade staat in plaats van een Marinero die service verleend doet dat weinig afbreuk aan het totaalpakket, je gooit daar een glas rosé over en de zaak is weer vergeten. Kroatie is niet het goedkoopste land (106 - 136 euro per nacht voor een 42 voet) maar we hebben dan ook havens gezien met hotelsanitair in marmer. (ook andere natuurlijk maar nooit brak.) Drage, Hramina, echt dik in orde. nog over de Boot: we waren met 2, dus de boot was zeer ruim, hij is echter "voorzien" voor 7 personen maar ondanks de 3 hutten vinden we zes eigenlijk al veel omdat er geen zitplaats buiten is achter het roer,dat reduceert het aantal schaduwplekjes aan één kant.

Fantastische mooie zeilweek gehad. Wij hadden vetrekpunt Trogir. Mooie zeilafstanden tussen de eilanden. En 2x voor anker een overnachting gedaan in een schilderachtige baai. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Ds boot was dik in orde.

Eerste keer op een catamaran, heel goed bevallen voor een groep met 2 gezinnen op 1 schip. Goed hanteerbaar en manoeuvreerbaar in de havens/bij ankeren. Intake bij aankomst echt te summier, wat mankementen aan de boot (6 jaar oud), maar prima communicatie en snelle (pogingen) voor herstel. Mooie, fijne en ruime cat, met prima zeilvermogen, maar misschien een nieuwer model om mankementjes te voorkomen.

We hebben een meer dan perfecte week gehad op de Irene. Alles was aanwezig en functioneerde. We zijn uitstekend geholpen en hebben ontzettend genoten op deze boot.

Fantastische vakantie gehad. Erg goed geholpen door Tubber. Eerdere ervaringen met andere bemiddelaars gaven onaangename verrassingen daags voor aanvang van de vakantie. Tubber daarentegen heeft het goed op orde; contact met lokale chartermaatschappij was ook prima.

Fethiye Sailing is a small operator with just a few yachts. The small scale is a plus; check-in and check-out are therefore smooth, with good and prompt support from the crew. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our yacht was a bit older – and therefore cheaper – but did have a few minor faults. This didn’t detract from the sailing experience or safety, however. The sailing area from Fethiye to Datça is stunning, with dozens of beautiful bays and charming little towns. Food and moorings were, however, more expensive than we’re used to in Greece.

We sailed for 13 days with two families, setting off from SXM on a round trip to St Barths, St Eustatius, Saba, Nevis, Kitts and Anguilla. Thanks to the watermaker and generator, we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Everything was well organised by Tubber and Sunsail.

Croatia is a beautiful place. We really enjoyed Drage, Molat and Veli Rat. Give Sali a miss. The weather can be unpredictable.

Boot: slecht functionerend anker, geen werkend toplicht, geen windmeter, motor met weinig vermogen. Slechte flottielje begeleiding, dit leidde tot frustratie en onveilige situatie.

A beautiful sailing boat, lovely and spacious, with high freeboard, stable, and sails well and easily. Three fridge-freezer compartments and a substantial battery. Spacious swimming platform. Over 700 litres of drinking water on board. Excellent and comprehensive navigation electronics on board. Downside: cheap and poorly fitted cushions in the cockpit and no sun loungers as promised in the picture. As a result, there are no comfortable seating or relaxation areas in the cockpit or near the helm.

Do not rent this boat under any circumstances. • The boat does not have a teak deck as shown in the photos on the website. The photos are not actual photos of the boat. • The transom on the starboard side was dangerously loose; • the pulpit on the port side was also dangerously loose; • the furling jib would occasionally jam completely, rendering it unusable; at one point we had to sail in circles to get the furling jib rolled up in very strong winds. • extensive damage to the gelcoat; • the oven was not working on departure, which delayed our departure (the oven had to be replaced first); • the steering wheel on the port side was loose; it felt as though it might come loose at any moment. • the on-board computer on the starboard side had black spots, making the screen difficult to read; • the on-board computer on the port side wasn’t working at all; • The compass was not working; it was pointing completely the wrong way north. • The speedometer regularly failed to work; • the lever for the outboard motor on the dinghy was completely loose, rendering it unusable; • there were only five fenders provided for the entire vessel; • the gangway had rotten sections and was splintering. Unfortunately, on our first evening aboard our chartered sailing yacht, we couldn’t get the engine to start. After just one phone call to the charter company, they came on board, helped us get going, and brought a new battery on board the following morning so that we could continue our journey with peace of mind.

Het was een prima trip. Er waren leuke mensen in de groep en mooie plekken. Wel is het jammer dat we maar 1 keer in een baai lagen en vaak verplicht moeten eten in restaurants en dan ook heel vroeg al in haven moeten zijn om plek te hebben. Daarvwas van te voren niks over te vinden.verder is de info van Tubber zelf heel erg achterhaald.

This is a tired old boat in need to a good overhaul. There were several problems that only showed up after we left the marina. These included an intermittent fault on the Autopilot, contaminated water tank, poor battery/fridge performance, mains power sockets tripping out etc. In addition the bow thruster didnt work however this was pointed out to me on arrival. On the plus side, the management company were friendly, easy to deal with and fair when it came to charging me for accidental damage that was my fault. I guess you get what you pay for and although I would charter from this company agasin, I would not charter this yacht again.

Het was echt geweldig, beter en toffer dan we hadden verwacht. We hadden een prachtige catamaran Bali en Simon , onze schipper, heeft de week naar een hoger niveau getild! Wat hebben we genoten. Thx allemaal

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Uitgebreide check in voor het jacht en klantvriendelijke benadering. De boot is -zeker voor een 2022 model- zeer goed onderhouden. Alles werkt naar behoren en was in prima conditie. 3 ruime comfortabele hutten. Check out was ook heel soepel zonder issues. Aan te bevelen!

Bavaria with 4 years’ wear and tear. Sailing is not optimal due to the roller system. The swimming platform got stuck; the release button is in a very awkward position and is difficult to reach.

Zeer goede chartermaatschappij en de regio Lefkas/Kefalonie is een prachtig zeilgebied. Goede afwisseling te vinden in baaitjes om te ankeren en leuke haventjes. Sommige haventjes zijn toeristisch, zoals Fiscardo en Vathi. Maar er zijn ook zeker hele leuke rustige dorpjes te vinden zoals Agio Effimia. Het gebied is zeer goed te bezeilen met over het algemeen voldoende wind.

Tubber were as always brilliant. No question was a bother to them and the staff were always helpful and punctual. Tubber's customer service is perfect. ECC Yachts were also very helpful and lovely to work with. The team at ECC Yachts made sure we felt welcome and carried out a good handover at both ends of the charter. The yacht was well equipped and a pleasure to sail.

We went on a flotilla trip with Wouter and Merel, which we really enjoyed. We had a lovely group and everything was very well organised. The boat was very well maintained and the charter company did a great job. We’d like to thank Wouter and Merel very much for a thoroughly enjoyable trip!

Wij zijn op flottielje geweest met Wouter en Merel wat ons erg goed heeft bevallen. We hadden een erg leuke groep en alles was zeer goed geregeld. De boot was erg goed verzorgd en de verhuurder deed het erg netjes. We willen Wouter en Merel heel erg bedanken voor een zeer geslaagde reis!

This was now our third trip with Tubber. The reservation and booking process went smoothly once again. We were given a very well-maintained sailing yacht, everything was provided, it was spotlessly clean, there were plenty of cooking utensils, the toilets and showers worked perfectly, the sails were in tip-top condition, and the underside of the boat was clean too; the ropes could perhaps have done with a wash, and a foot pump to inflate the dinghy would also have been handy. Fortunately, everyone helps each other out on the water :). The skipper we were assigned through Tubber was also a great fit – skilled, composed, professional – we had a lovely trip! Istion was a brilliant host, always available, and provided excellent service! They even came to the location to replace a wheel that had broken whilst we were enjoying our evening meal on the quay. We set off from Preveza, a region known for its light winds, so intensive sailing isn’t really an option there, but it’s certainly a very beautiful area. There are plenty of little bays where you can drop anchor and enjoy the scents and colours of Greece.

Disappointing unmaintained yacht lots of issues and a fire

A good boat and a very nice marina with clean toilet facilities. According to our contract with Tubber, Wi-Fi was included in our package, but unfortunately we were not provided with it at check-in; when we enquired, we were offered the option to purchase it. Unfortunately, several attempts to obtain a refund from the charter company for the roaming charges were unsuccessful; we did not find the offered option of a discount on a charter next year satisfactory.

The booking went very smoothly. The boat is old but in good condition. Other than that, we had a lovely week. The biggest downside – and this is truly unacceptable – is that the deposit was withheld in full without any communication, breakdown of costs or anything whatsoever. I’m getting no response from EuropeSail, the company that rents out the boat.
