The weather on the British Virgin Islands

With stable temperatures of around 25 and 30 degrees, you know where you stand. On the British Virgin Islands, the climate is also called subtropical with pleasant trade winds. At night the temperatures are not too high and therefore pleasant, and it won't rain much on the islands. The hurricane season at the BVI runs from June to November.

Where should I fly if I want to sail in this flotilla?

You can fly to Tortola. The marina is only a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport. Tubber can help you arrange this.

When does the BVI flotilla sail?

For now, there are no flotillas planned for the BVI in the year 2022. For really up-to-date availability, it is always best to personally contact one of our Tubber sailing holiday experts.

Do I need a boat license to participate in a flotilla?

When you go bareboat sailing in the BVI, you do not necessarily need to be in possession of a valid boating license. In any case, we can prepare a temporary sailing CV for you that is accepted locally.
