Poor Sailing in the Sporades from Volos is fantastic! Good winds, beautiful harbors and bays and beautiful nature. This area is worth coming back to more often. However, the Nirvana did not meet all expectations, we had specifically chosen a young ship from 2022 because we steal high demands for sailing qualities, but it was disappointing due to the condition of the ship, sails and equipment. Main setback was a malfunctioning anchor winch, which should work fine after a manual reset. This beek not the case. Because of this we ended up in a number of dangerous anchoring situations, where for example in the middle of the night the anchor winch started to self-float. Very dangerous when you are 15 meters in front of the rocks. Because of this we had to adjust our route and sailed back to Volos, where the ship was fitted with a new anchor winch. Discussing this situation with Tubber went well. In the second week, the windset broke down, so information about wind direction and strength no longer came through. This part was replaced a few days later. Smaller downsides were: electric toilet did not work, so we could only use 1 bathroom. Portholes in the cabin did not close properly, allowing skipping waves to come in. Hooks to secure cockpit table were broken off. The photos on the website are the yard's standard photos, and do not fully reflect reality. For example, the layout of the cockpit was different, nor were all the cushions present as shown in the pictures. If you have few demands for sailing qualities, this is a fine and comfortable boat, provided that essential parts work properly. As an experienced sailor, I do not recommend it.
