Very Good Good day had with Willem. He gave us renewed confidence for our sailing holiday in Italy. We practised all kinds of manoeuvres. The weather was not very good, but we managed to do some sailing.

Excellent Willem is a fine and patient skipper, extremely knowledgeable and a pleasant interlocutor. Very hospitable. It was a good decision to take one day of sailing lessons ahead of our holiday. First of all, the holiday feeling immediately comes to life, in addition to which the entire group was given ample opportunity to practice and everyone faces the Greek waters with more confidence.

Excellent Had 2 wonderful days on Willem's boat! How much we learned. The way he explained things, showed us, let us try things was really top notch. He had an eye for all 4 of us and gave everyone room to learn for themselves. Theory was also covered where we got the chance to put it into practice. We felt welcome on his boat from the start. It was fun and hugely educational. For anyone who wants to learn to be and/or improve their sailing skills, this is highly recommended!

Excellent For us as a family, partly dotting the i's for the more experienced sailors. In particular, practising reverse docking and anchoring. For family members with less sailing experience, also very useful to feel how a larger boat reacts more slowly to what you do. Everything was explained very well by Willem. And besides being useful, it was also just a really fun weekend. Thanks

Excellent We had 2 wonderful, educational, and fun days on Willem's boat. He taught us a lot and, above all, let us do a lot ourselves. Clear and nice tips on motoring, mooring and docking and sailing. Definitely recommended.

Excellent Willem was a very fine instructor. Patient, good explanations and above all he lets you think and do a lot yourself. By making your own 'mistakes' you eventually learn the fastest. We would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Beautiful boat and a super captain! We were 3 couples of which 1 person could sail. Pleasant welcome by Willem with a discussion of the day. Then sailed to Enkhuizen to eat lunch and walk around. Then sailed back. Willem gives you the freedom to sail yourself and supports where necessary. This was a very pleasant experience, we would love to come back again!

Excellent Wanting to get more experience in mooring, anchoring and mooring with anchor (as is common in Greece), we spent a day practising with Willem, skipper of the Il Moro. We had a great day and learned a lot! Did this course benefit us? Definitely!!! During our holidays in Greece we anchored a lot (weather or not, we were solid as a rock). The course was instructive, pleasant instruction, good guidance. What was unfortunate is that we spent a lot of time sailing from Lelystad harbour to Trintelhaven 'practice' harbour, and may have lost some learning time as a result. Of course, you cannot predict the weather in advance and Willem made up for everything with his improvised lunch because we had not read the briefing. A learning course for anyone going to hire a boat!!!

Very Good Had fine sailing lessons from Willem yesterday. Lots of attention to personal wishes. The mooring is nice to have had good practice in a safe setting. Hope this has made me more proficient at sailing.

Very Good What a wonderful day we had on the sailboat with Willem! He gave us and the 16-year-old children lots of instructions and he is very professional. Highly recommended!

Excellent Top sailing day with Willem! Three times is lucky for us because the day had been moved twice before due to bad weather. It was well worth the wait. Fantastic day with good sailing weather and a friendly and very experienced host/instructor. We learned a lot. Willem, with great patience, lets you experience everything yourself because that is where you learn the most. We are now confidently looking forward to the flotilla sailing!!! Preparing with Willem is definitely recommended!

Very Good A bit expensive compared to sailing schools in the area. But absolute value for money, beautiful boat and good skipper who explains everything clearly and lets you practice. Indeed, another 30 euro in fuel afterwards seemed a bit much to us, we could sail for 2 weeks for that, but okay. We are ready for our flotilla holiday!

Excellent Willem is a fine host and gave us many useful tips for our trip in Greece. The atmosphere was top notch and everything nice and quiet.

Excellent Learned a lot from the ever-patient Willem. Reverse mooring, anchor out, sailing, rules on the water. All this on a beautiful Sunday with exactly a nice breeze.

Poor The trip was announced as a romantic valentine's sail. It should have been announced more soberly. Now expectations were high which was not fulfilled. Still, it was a delightful sailing day.

Excellent Refresher day in preparation for sailing holiday in Greece. Explained and coached by the committed, skilled and sympathetic Willem, it became a great day and we are up to date again. Recommended to anyone who has booked a sailing holiday and wants to brush up on manoeuvres, sailing and 'boathandling'.

Excellent Willem helped us well with practising for our flotilla trip to Croatia with Mediterranean mooring and anchoring. The links also helped from YouTube videos. As there was no wind, we had to pay the cost of motoring, this could be better communicated in advance.

Excellent In preparation for our flotilla holiday to Croatia, Tubber's congenial lads suggested we get some brush-up lessons from skipper Willem for a day. We were supposed to go on a Saturday, but on arrival the wind turned out to be just a bit too strong to practice properly, immediately we made a new appointment together in good consultation. On Tuesday, the weather turned out to be beautiful, so the fun could begin! First we had a nice cup of coffee on board to discuss our sailing experience together. Then it was down to work. Willem gave instructions, we followed them and together we steered the magnificent, enviable boat. Several times reverse parking, anchoring, some questions to see if the theory of the small boat licence had stuck a bit, all in a very genial relaxed atmosphere. Willem really makes you feel at ease, really top notch. After docking at the jetty and cleaning up the boat, we had a beer to support the evaluation and to celebrate life! Really: this is highly recommended if you are also planning a sailing holiday and want to get a confidence boost so that you start your sailing holiday with a good feeling at Tubber! Thanks Willem for a great day, maybe we will enjoy your company and your beautiful boat again in the future!

Excellent This summer we will join a flotilla in Greece. We are very much looking forward to it, but after not having sailed for a couple of years, also a bit uncertain and uncomfortable... So we went out with Willem for 3 days on the IJsselmeer via Tubber and we are very happy with that.

Excellent friendly welcome awaited us that day and over a freshly made cup of coffee a nice introduction. The day went extremely smoothly. Short explanations prior to each exercise gave confidence in the execution. Cosy, instructive and a nice piece of reference work for at home. Great!

Excellent Well, start there, five women (with sailing experience) wanting to know the real tricks of docking and manoeuvring a sharp yacht. Willem calmly gave his instructions. Excellent Want to gain more confidence as a novice skipper? Then I have recommendation. Willem calmly explains all boat handling, lets you practice endlessly. He also pours delicious coffee and likes to talk about his experiences at sea. Experiences with pleasure boating as well as commercial boating. Enjoyed it and learned a lot. Thanks!

Excellent Had a day's lesson from Willem to prepare us for a week of sailing in Croatia. Especially learned the tricks of mooring. Instructor Willem knows how to communicate in a very clear and relaxed manner. Great day that was very useful.

Excellent The aim of the course was to master manoeuvring in a harbour, mooring alongside and/or between the mooring posts. Willem does this in a very pleasant and calm manner. Can recommend this day to anyone. The only downside, if I can name one, is that the fuel is not included in the fairly hefty daily rate. Had expected this.
