Dufour 390 - 2023

A very quiet week in the start of the Saison, nice to have space in harbors, mooring buoys and anchor bays. Charter company was very helpful and friendly, and check-out/in was very smooth. Some tech issues, but very adequate dealt with by charterer.

Dufour 470 - 3 cab. - 2022

Location: 15 minutes from Zadar airport is already fantastic, affordable tickets Transavia. Spacious ship, owners' layout: very spacious berths. Only downsides: first hire of season, not all lines were well laid out. Router had been replaced just before us, equipment was not connected as a result, self resolved quickly though. Ship well clean inside, slightly less so outside. Infinite pluses, in terms of equipment everything present. Didn't really miss anything. Service: excellent, easy app contact with home port/landlord. Gas tank for cooking was empty once, within half an hour in a remote bay someone from the rental came to deliver a new one.

Bavaria 47 - 2000

Willem was a very fine instructor. Patient, good explanations and above all he lets you think and do a lot yourself. By making your own 'mistakes' you eventually learn the fastest. We would recommend it to anyone.

Jeanneau Sunsail 410 - 2020

Fantastic two weeks of sailing, from Gouvia to Lefkas and back, via all kinds of blissful bays and cosy little ports ... we want more! Thanks also to Sunsails for the excellent service. Very spacious boat, with all the luxury we could wish for. The boat is also very economical, with a total of 100€ worth of diesel, and we never had to recharge the batteries in port ... The only downside I can think of is that it does lean a little to port when mooring, a captain who's been warned is worth two ; )

Dufour 34 - 2004

Everything went great! Tubber was very nice and easy to contact at all times. The boat was in the condition described and was on site ready to be taken over. Any time again!

Elan Impression 45 - 2018

Pro's: The boat was OK, in good condition. Tubber were excellent in the support when we had an issue. Cons: The outboard provided didn't work. It took 3 days to replace it, and we had to hang out in a marina for 24 hours to get the replacement, which on a 6 day charter wasn't great. The batteries were in terrible condition, and failed. We had to turn off the fridges, and pull the anchor up by hand. The charter company just blamed us for poor battery management. We are experienced sailors. At the end of the charter, they tried to charge us for damage to the hull that was already there. I only avoided the charge because I had written the scrape onto the pick-up form at the start.

Bavaria Cruiser 51 Style - 4 cab. - 2017

Fine yacht, nice marina and super guided by tubber

Jeanneau 53 - 5 cab. - 2011

We had another great sailing trip. This time from Tenerife. The sailboat met our expectations. The skipper, Kristel, is also highly recommended!

Leopard Moorings 5000-5/4 - 2022

Very complete boat and good fast service from Moorings.

Lagoon Sunsail 424 - 2019

Surroundings, boat and organisation by sunsail/moorings perfect! Enjoyed being on this spacious boat. Generator, watermaker, solar panels, microwave, smoothymaker, toaster, freezer, 2x fridge... overcomplete! 8 days of pure enjoyment and check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42 i - 2008

For a Caribbean vacation this year my wife and I chose St. Vincent as a destination and contemplated sailing some of the time but searches online showed a limited number of charter offerings for a monohull. Contacting Tubber on short notice we were delightfully surprised that they were able to arrange for a Jeanneau 41’ sailboat with a Captain to sail from Martinique and meet us on the start date of our vacation for a 4-day cruise. From start to finish the cruise met our expectations, with our Captain keeping everyday an experience to enjoy. On the first morning we were able to quickly provision at the local marina, complete the paperwork and within hours were headed south to Bequia Island under 20knot winds and perfect skies. Taking advantage of the winds over the next two days we continued south to overnight in the Tobago Cays and then turn back North for another overnight in Bequia before a return to St Vincent. In short, the cruise was a great combination of sailing, new places, and new friendships. We thank Tubber for matching up our vacation schedule with a boat, and a great captain.

Fountaine Pajot Ipanema 58 - 6 + 2 cab. - 2020

The boat and super spacious and clean, the skipper very experienced and the cook friendly. Sailing felt more like moving a large motorhome and took some getting used to at times due to the waves, out of 11 guests, 2 were quite nauseous the first few hours but the rest of the week went well. I had the smaller cabin with a friend (not my partner) and that was okay. You did have to get over the other if you wanted to go to the toilet in the night but I fortunately didn't have to. The islands, the snorkelling and the beautiful blue sea and white beaches (most of the time) more than made up for all the negative points. That was the only minus for me.

Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 - 5 + 1 cab. - 2019

Everything was organised to perfection. We were picked up nicely from the airport. Despite arriving at the port way too early, the rental agent was ready to do the check-in. Thanks Tubber for arranging it and for the good service

Dehler 38 - 2014

If you are looking for a really fast and sporty sailor, it is a super boat that leaves many a larger boat in its wake.(boat has also been used for racing) However, due to the many trimming options and its sportier nature, this is definitely not a boat suitable for the average sailor who just wants to go for a sail. Unfortunately, due to improper use, the boat was in poor condition (I had a 3-sheet list of defects) topped off by leakage at the windows in the cabin and one of the cabins aft and the inability to close the general access hatch.

Bavaria C42 - 2021

Fine comfortable boat. Everything works, even at the end of the season after so many consecutive weeks on charter. Committed charter company, very quick response to queries and thoughtful.

Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 - 5 + 1 cab. - 2019

had a great holiday where everything went well thanks to Tubber's good care. sailed many miles with wind from 2 to 8bfr. it was in a word great. a side note is that the Skylark was/is pretty worn out. five years on hire does not do a boat any good and you can tell.

Beneteau Oceanis 48 (Refit 2022) - 2012

A fantastic week of sailing in Greece on a boat that still needs some attention despite the refit but sails nicely.

Bavaria Cruiser 46 - 4 cab. - 2015

What a great sailing holiday Greece. Set off from Athens harbour on a 46 Cruiser 4 cab. I can recommend Tubber to everyone.

Dufour 382 GL - 2018

Boat was tip-top condition, check-in and check-out went smoothly. Highly recommended

Bavaria Cruiser 46 - 4 cab. - 2015

I had a great week! The boat was fine and spacious, nice to have a private cabin with bathroom. Our professional skipper and flotilla leader Martin had prepared the week well in terms of route, harbours and restaurants. But he also dealt well with calamities involving people and boats. This created a nice connection with all participants. I wouldn't have wanted to miss this week!

Hanse 385 - 2016

Smooth check-in and check-out by the charter company. Jumping Jack is not very comfortable living. The mattresses are worn out, the toilet seat has definitely seen better days and the dining table is just broke. However, the sails are brand new and technical instruments are solid. The boat is a fast and decent sailer, but a little bit of attention to a more comfortable living by the charter couldn’t hurt.

Bavaria Cruiser 41 - 3 cab. - 2016

The boat was super clean and spacious. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 16) and had a wonderful holiday! And only downside of this boat is that there is no usb connection for your phone. But if you know in advance then you can bring a 12-volt adapter to charge your phones. Also keep in mind that there are no cushions for the benches outside. WIe bought them at Sali port!

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32i - 2008

I expected some minor faults when chartering an older yacht, but Charoula was chartered to us with major faults, not fit for charter. The engine did not reliably engage the propeller (sometimes immediately, sometimes over ten minutes before it would engage); the windlass operated Up but not Down, so we had no control when dropping the anchor and this resulted in us getting the anchor chain tangled. There were also unpleasant problems, such as the foot-operated tap for the sink discharging foul water into the sink, and the heads not flushing reliably till I fixed them. We had delayed starts on several mornings of our week on board, either in chandlers or awaiting engineers or technicians, which affected our itinerary. We have requested compensation from Tubber and only been offered E100 off if we charter with them again - which we would NEVER do. I can recommend other charter companies, but NOT Tubber, the worst experience I've ever had.

Lagoon 450 F - 4 + 2 cab. - 2016

Excellent week with the Laguna 450F. During this period (12-19 Oct) enjoyed the good weather, which of course is so important. Only the last 2 days the temperature dropped from 25gr to 20gr.

Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 - (3 double beds) - 2024

Rented thi Beneteau Oceanus 40.1 Monterey through Tubber and it was rented from Vernicos Yachts in Lefkas Marina. The boat was new this year so in very good condition. Contrary to the description on Tubber it does not have solar panels nor an inbox gangway, but apart from that minor niggle everything else was excellent. Very good briefing and support from Giannis at Vernicos Yachts. I would happily recommend them to others.
