Hanse 460 - 4 cab. - 2026

Due to an accident, I had to have an operation, so the children and their friends set off on their own to Palma, Mallorca. Having arrived without a skipper, they were looked after brilliantly by the team at first-class-sailing.com. Skipper Nacho spontaneously offered to take them out to open water during the eclipse (which involved a lot of organising on his part!). Fortunately, my wife and I were able to join them that day, and the solar eclipse turned out to be the wonderful, shared experience we’d been hoping for. But for the last two days as well, first-class-sailing.com provided skipper Leo, who went sailing with us. We spent the night in Cala Pi and even spotted the Perseid meteor shower during the night. A holiday that was in danger of falling through but, thanks to the help of first-class-sailing, has become an unforgettable, cherished memory.

Dufour 41 - 2024

Excellent flotilla leadership from Funmaxx’s Samira and Pieter. Charter Boomerang were professional and friendly. Good boats and a lovely sailing area.

Lagoon 50 (Generator,A/C,Water Maker,Inverter) - 2021

A Superb week on board MINOS! the boat was in very good shape, everything worked real fine, Frank Vitalis, the team leader of "LeGranBleu" was super helpful and solicit, very nice and friendly, and we had a extraordinary Captain, Skipper Thanos! a real man of the seas! all went super well, we loved our extremelly short week at the Argo-Saronic islands, wonderful! thanks Tubber for the connection, and preparing everything.

Beneteau Cyclades 50.5 - 5 + 1 cab. - 2007

The boat was in good condition once the diesel generator had been repaired. This did, however, cost us two days of our holiday, a matter we are still discussing with ABB Charter and Tubber. It’s quite an old boat, so there were quite a few minor faults and defects. One of the air conditioning units was broken; there were no washing-up utensils, no lighter, the depth sensor display was unreadable, etc. The local staff were friendly and helpful. Fuel consumption was low, but we did a lot of sailing.

Beneteau Cyclades 43.4 - 2007

We had a wonderful week with our fantastic and friendly skipper Joost and his daughter Anne-Fleur, and a big thank you also to Martin and Fiona, who organised everything brilliantly! Stunning spots, lovely harbours and coves, and a great group of people. It’s a shame we couldn’t be there for the second week.

Dufour 412 GL - 2016

Fantastische week gehad met een Tubber flottielje vanuit Sukosan. Boot was erg fijn, en chartermaatschappij behulpzaam. Buitenkeuken was de hit van het flottielje. Geen supersnelle boot, wel een erg fijne.

Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 First Line - 2022

A beautiful boat with all the mod cons on board. The sails were in good condition, there was a lovely teak deck, and the air conditioning and generator worked well. There were six of us on board and everyone had plenty of space, partly thanks to the extra cabin with bunk beds. The only drawback was that the toilet in the owner’s cabin leaked when flushing it (manually).

Bavaria Cruiser 50 Avantgarde - 2013

Vtv – great service from Tubber. This is now our third booking. The yacht’s home port, Murter, is a lovely place with plenty of restaurants and good facilities. The toilet block is just a bit far from the moorings. The service provided by the charter company Pitter is good and very customer-friendly. On the last day, it was very hectic on the waterway as the boat refuelling station is situated directly opposite the mooring. My advice is therefore to refuel earlier, for example on a Thursday. In hindsight, I was glad I’d done this myself. Don’t expect a good night’s sleep in the harbour when it’s windy. Lots of lines and sheets clatter against the masts of unmanned sailing yachts. The sailing area is beautiful, with an endless supply of fantastic anchorages. Make use of the Navily app – it provides useful information.

Lagoon 46 - 4 + 2 cab. - 2023

Bien sûr — voici une traduction naturelle en anglais, adaptée à un avis client : A completely inexperienced skipper, to the point that we were genuinely concerned for our safety. I’m not even sure he had the required qualifications. The charter company, Rumbo Norte, should be avoided. The overall condition of the boat was also very poor for a 2023 vessel. Choose another boat, and above all, check with Tubber to make sure you avoid Rumbo Norte. Tubber is not responsible for these issues and, to their credit, they were attentive and responsive throughout.

Dufour 412 GL - 2016

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 - 3 cab. - 2023

Easy to book and great assistance from Tubber. The charter company behind this boat was also very thorough. A good boat.

Bavaria 46 Cruiser - 2017

We’ve been visiting Greece for years, but this was our first time setting off from Neo Peramos, which we really enjoyed. It’s not as busy here as Alimos Marina or other harbours, and you feel like you’re on holiday the moment you set sail. We hired the boat for two weeks and sailed as far as Elafonisos. The charter operator in question is very friendly and helpful, but this boat has certainly seen better days and hasn’t been properly refurbished. For instance, the display on the control panel inside was faulty, which meant, amongst other things, that we couldn’t see how much water we had left; some of the lines were in poor condition; only one winch handle worked – and even then, poorly; several strap buckles were broken; and I don’t think the sails have ever been replaced. We noticed that the dinghy was losing air after just one day, so it must have had a leak somewhere, but the owner did bring us a new one. Apart from that, the boat was tidy and well-equipped with kitchenware and other accessories.

Beneteau Oceanis 38 - 2015

We had a brilliant week’s sailing. The boat was in perfect condition and a real pleasure to sail. It offered a good balance between sailing performance and comfort for a family of five. The local charter operator was friendly and helpful. The flotilla leaders, Arjan and Mees, were friendly and professional, and taught us all the necessary sailing techniques. Everything was organised down to the last detail – highly recommended! Greece is stunning from the sea, with countless little beaches; unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to stop at every single one.

Lagoon 42 - 2017

We had a lovely trip, but we have a few comments and points of criticism regarding the boat: - During the trip, we discovered there was a hole in the bow. We reported this immediately to ND Sails, who told us it was due to damage that had occurred the week before.... They should, of course, have told us about this in advance. - The dinghy’s engine was unreliable; sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldn’t; - The dinghy had a leak, so we had to empty it after every use. - The door to the galley didn’t work properly, so we couldn’t lock the boat; - the cushions on deck could no longer be secured properly because half the press studs were missing; in strong winds, they blew off the boat; - the toilet in the rear right-hand cabin didn’t flush properly. The skipper, Kristel Zweers, was absolutely brilliant and really took our wishes on board. She was also great company at the dinner table. Furthermore, I think it should be made clearer that, although you hire the boat until 9 am on Saturday morning, you MUST be back in the harbour by 5 pm on Friday. That’s effectively one day less.

Bavaria C42 - 2020

Another wonderful sailing destination – this time Biograd. It was our first time chartering a bareboat (after six flotilla trips), and we really enjoyed it. As usual, everything was sorted perfectly through Tubber. (They now also offer insurance, which is a lot easier – especially for non-Dutch nationals – than taking out your own insurance through Unigarant) It was our first time on a boat with air conditioning – it really was a game-changer, especially when the nights don’t really cool down. (You do need to be ashore with a 230-volt supply at all times, though.) The free Navily account we were given when booking was brilliant this year – a must-have for anyone chartering a bareboat. Just set the filters and choose. We were also able to book several marinas via Navily, which is a real convenience, especially in peak season. This time we had a boat from the Angelina company – absolutely brilliant. At one point we had a faulty pulley; one phone call, a few photos via WhatsApp, and the next morning at 8.30 am the lads were with us in the harbour on the boat with the correct spare parts. One final thought on the reviews you read about service in various harbours: generally speaking, the service is certainly fine, and although there are sometimes harbours – petrol stations where there’s a ‘donkey’ standing on the quay instead of a marinero providing service – that does little to detract from the overall package; you just wash it down with a glass of rosé and it’s forgotten. Croatia isn’t the cheapest country (106–136 euros per night for a 42-footer), but then again, we’ve seen marinas with hotel-standard marble bathrooms. (There are others, of course, but never shabby.) Drage, Hramina – absolutely top-notch. As for the boat: there were two of us, so it felt very spacious; it’s ‘designed’ for seven people, but despite the three cabins, we actually found six to be quite a lot, as there’s no seating outside behind the helm, which reduces the number of shaded spots on one side.

Bavaria Cruiser 37 - 3 cab. - 2021

Our holiday was absolutely fantastic. Ivica, the Base Manager at Dalmatia Charter, was on hand throughout the trip and helped us whenever needed, always in a friendly and professional manner. Sailing around the Dalmatian islands remains a wonderful experience — this time we even sailed as far as Korčula, which comes highly recommended with its charming old town and crystal-clear blue waters. Tubber also deserves a mention: they responded quickly and helpfully to all our queries, ensuring that the preparations went smoothly. In short: a wonderful sailing holiday with top-notch service and a brilliant itinerary. I’d go again in a heartbeat.

Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 - 5 + 1 cab. - 2019

The photos of the boat are a far cry from reality. The seat cushions and sun loungers were missing, the boat was really run-down, the air conditioning frequently failed, and all three bathrooms were very dirty and smelled of sewage. The dinghy’s engine didn’t work at all. After raising this issue with Tubber, I was referred to the local charter company. In the end, the local charter company did try to sort out the problems, but they were unsuccessful. I would definitely never book this boat again.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 - 3 cab. - 2019

We had a fantastic week’s sailing. We set off from Trogir. There were lovely sailing distances between the islands. And we dropped anchor twice to spend the night in a picturesque bay. Definitely worth repeating. The boat was absolutely fine.

Bali Catamarans Bali 4.1 - 4 + 2 cab. - 2019

First time on a catamaran – we really enjoyed it as a group of two families on one boat. Easy to handle and manoeuvre in harbours and when at anchor. The briefing on arrival was really too brief; there were a few faults with the boat (6 years old), but communication was excellent and there were prompt (attempts at) repairs. A lovely, comfortable and spacious catamaran with excellent sailing performance, though perhaps a newer model would be better to avoid minor faults.

Bavaria 36 Cruiser - 2011

We had a more than perfect week on the Irene. Everything was there and in working order. We received excellent service and thoroughly enjoyed our time on this boat.

Bavaria C42 - 2023

We had a fantastic holiday. Tubber was a great help. Previous experiences with other agents had led to unpleasant surprises just days before the holiday was due to start. Tubber, on the other hand, has everything well organised; communication with the local charter company was also excellent.

Hanse 445 - 4 cabin - 2013

Fethiye Sailing is a small operator with just a few yachts. The small scale is a plus; check-in and check-out are therefore smooth, with good and prompt support from the crew. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our yacht was a bit older – and therefore cheaper – but did have a few minor faults. This didn’t detract from the sailing experience or safety, however. The sailing area from Fethiye to Datça is stunning, with dozens of beautiful bays and charming little towns. Food and moorings were, however, more expensive than we’re used to in Greece.

Other Sunsail 424/4/4 - 2022

We sailed for 13 days with two families, setting off from SXM on a round trip to St Barths, St Eustatius, Saba, Nevis, Kitts and Anguilla. Thanks to the watermaker and generator, we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Everything was well organised by Tubber and Sunsail.

Bavaria Cruiser 45 - 2014

Croatia is a beautiful place. We really enjoyed Drage, Molat and Veli Rat. Give Sali a miss. The weather can be unpredictable.

Elan Impression 40.1 - 2021

Boat: malfunctioning anchor, no working masthead light, no anemometer, underpowered engine. Poor flotilla guidance, which led to frustration and an unsafe situation.
