The Cyclades archipelago is with a mild and pretty dry climate during the year. The temperatures rarely go below 10 degrees Celsius. From the end of May till November the water temperature is around 20 degrees, making it perfect for swimming and sailing on a yacht. In August, the sea temperature reaches a maximum 25 degrees Celsius, which attracts lots of swimmers and tourists!

Due to the mild climate, the Cyclades are an all-year available sailing destination! The best months for a sailing holiday there are between March and October, with great weather and an enjoyable atmosphere. If you want to practice social distancing, you should then consider a sailing holiday there during springtime or in September. This way the crowd will be avoided and the sailing holiday will be in perfect temperatures.
