Bavaria Cruiser 37 - 3 cab. with 3 Cabins - Sailing Yacht (2014) - Julia

Very Good Sailing in Croatia remains a wonderful experience with great weather and days with good wind and little wind. The sailboat that was delivered was Okay, but did have some flaws regarding the mosquito nets and blackout which no longer worked properly. Overall, the boat was pleasant and as expected for a wonderful week of sailing. We had also booked the flotilla through Tubber and were less enthusiastic about it. - we were not welcomed by the flotilla leaders on arrival in the harbour on the first day - communication from the flotilla leader was very minimal - moorings and/or moorings were not organised or very poorly organised, being told this was due to the crowds. But we wondered why the flotilla leader was not first on site to simply arrange this in a timely manner. - locations given up to anchor with 10 boats and then have dinner with all of them, where then on arrival it turns out there is no room here and others from flotilla took initiative to find suitable bay for the group.... - agreed on another bay, where subsequently there is also no room and the flotilla is spread over 4 different locations. Our expectation and main reason for booking the flotilla was the good experience we had with Tubber last year where we were really taken care of for the ultimate holiday feeling. This year we were very disappointed in how this was organised by Tubber and really wonder why we paid money for a flotilla as this was really very poorly organised. For unburdening us finding the beautiful bays we unfortunately had little use for Tubber this year. The flotilla leader was very keen though and very friendly and open to feedback. In which case, perhaps some extra guidance from Tubber would not have been amiss.
