Very Good The marina team was a dream! Friendly, fast, uncomplicated at check-in and check-out. The yacht was old (we were aware of this), so there was no "luxury equipment". This was to be expected. Apart from the outboard motor (a typical representative of its species - only works in the marina on the pushpit) and sumlog/log (consistently showed "- - -"), everything necessary worked (sails, lighting, anchor & winch, engine, fridge, radio, toilets). The sailing characteristics of the old lady were excellent despite heavily stretched reefing lines and halyards, the anchor and chain held securely even in thunderstorm gusts of 40kt+! Unfortunately, wind instruments were missing, as were up-to-date sea and GPS charts and harbour handbooks (the skipper's case can compensate for this), and the skipper's case no longer had the missing markings on the 40m of anchor chain or the chain claw... The interior resembles a youth hostel from the 70s. Nothing is complete, but nothing is completely broken either (with the exception of the on-board clock and barometer, which - judging by the corrosion spots - are probably original parts). However, the countless damages to the gelcoat and the hatches (which were missing their panelling and therefore offered surprising insights into the nature of the repair work) were a surprise, but everything remained largely sealed. The bilge has to be flushed and drained anyway ;-) Conclusion: The boat is fun for up to 6 people who are not too tall and who prioritise sailing. However, you can't go on a tear in the marina ;-) So how much "yacht" does a boat need these days?
