The English Flotilla Guidance

Of course, a successful sailing holiday depends on the weather, the sun, the sea and the flotilla guidance. In addition to conviviality, safety is of course very important during the sailing holiday. During the Brač flotilla, professional English-speaking guidance is available on the mothership who are always ready for mooring and anchoring. These flotilla leaders may also be local residents, but will always have good English language skills. In addition, they plot the route (with input from the participants) and monitor the weather for everyone. Of course, they enjoy it a lot themselves and are always looking forward to giving you a great experience in Croatia as well.

Day 5

Vrboska Town, Hvar island
The fleet reunites on the island of Hvar, on the northern side in a sheltered bay of Vrboska. This city is known as "Little Venice" because the bay goes so deep inland that it resembles a canal. The fleet will spend the night on a city wharf, which is a great place for a rakija tasting. Rakija is a schnapps, grappa or liquor, there are different names and even more flavours.

Day 6

Bay of Lučice, Brač island
It is a short sailing trip from Vrboska to Lučice Bay, only 16 nautical miles, which allows many stops and explorations along the way. For example, stop at Golden Horn Beach on Brač, Smrka Bay on Brač and see an old submarine tunnel, or Blaca Bay where you can walk to a monastery carved into living rock. Once you have arrived in Lučice Bay, you can go snorkeling and explore the caves along the bay. A group meal is planned for this evening at a local restaurant, and the town of Milna is about a 20-minute walk away for those wishing to explore further inland.
