This sailing holiday is specifically composed for families

This flotilla sailing holiday starts from Zaton (near Sibenik) in Croatia. This sailing holiday is especially for families, but everyone is welcome in this flotilla, both experienced and inexperienced sailors. The flotilla sails along with beautiful islands and quiet bays where you can anchor perfectly.

The departure port of this flotilla is centrally located between the airports of Zadar and Split. This means that you can easily compare the desired flights. It is less than a 45-minute drive from both airports to the port in Zaton. If you travel by car from the Netherlands, it is approximately 1600 km from the center of the country. Zaton is located near Skradin, in the middle of the park of the Krka waterfalls, the departure port of the flotilla is on the Krka river. When you sail down the Krka and the channel from Sibenik you will end up in the beautiful area of the Kornati islands. The Kornati archipelago is a sensationally beautiful area with roughly 140 islands. Here you will find many secluded bays, beautiful harbors to moor, and authentic villages to visit. There is a lot to see during the flotilla sailing in Croatia and our well-located starting port has minimized the logistical challenge.

You can also book both routes one after the other if you wish to go sailing for two weeks. Check out the north route from Zaton.

Flotilla leaders Stefan and Ortrud

Of course, a successful sailing holiday depends on the weather, the sun, the sea and the flotilla guidance. Stefan and Ortrud are a very nice German couple who are also very experienced in guiding Dutch flotillas. In addition to fun, safety is of course very important during the sailing holiday. During the flotilla they are always present on the mothership and can always be ready during mooring and anchoring. In addition, they plot the route (with input from the participants) and monitor the weather for everyone. Of course they also enjoy it a lot themselves and are always looking forward to giving you a great experience in Croatia too.
