Flotilla sailing from Trogir during the May holiday - a beautiful route which we will sail again in the May holiday of 2027.

We will visit the islands of Hvar and Brac, among other things, so these flotilla holidays in Croatia are highly recommended!

Combination of Towns and Beautiful Bays

This flotilla is perfect for enjoying the south of Croatia for a week.

The starting location is perfectly accessible if you want to fly. Suppose you would like to travel more environmentally conscious and take the car, you can combine this holiday with a short country holiday in Austria, Slovenia, or the beautiful north of Italy. We often travel to Slovenia first to enjoy the beautiful nature and Slovenian cuisine for a day.

Most ports where we will dock on this route from Trogir have good facilities. You can count on fresh water provisions and good restaurants.

On other evenings, we anchor in beautiful bays and enjoy delicious food surrounded by the night sky.

Croatia's Sailing Climate

Croatia has a mild climate.

During the May holiday period, temperatures are often between 20 and 25 degrees during the day. However, during the night, it can get cold, so bring plenty of layers in terms of clothing. Regarding wind force, it is considered moderate with 3 to 4 Beaufort.

Of course, a successful sailing holiday depends on the weather, the sun, the sea, and the flotilla guidance. In addition to fun, safety is of course very important during the sailing holiday.

During the flotilla, professional guidance is available on the mothership, who are always ready for mooring and anchoring. These flotilla leaders may also be local skippers but will always have good English language skills. In addition, they plot the route (with input from the participants) and monitor the weather for everyone. Of course, they also enjoy it a lot themselves and are always looking forward to giving you a great experience in Croatia too.

Day 1

Check in Seget/Trogir
On Saturday, you check in after your flight or car ride. We won't leave until Sunday, so enjoy a cold drink or take a dip in the marina's swimming pool. In the evening, you can take the taxi boats to Trogir and stroll through its small streets.

Day 2

Seget - Milna
Today promises a relaxed and easy start to our sailing adventure - especially if you choose to sail directly to Milna. The route takes you past the charming islands of Brač and Šolta, offering stunning coastal views and plenty of opportunities to pause for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear Adriatic. After the heat of the marina, a dip in the sea will be more than welcome. We’ve made sure there’s a reserved spot waiting for you in Milna, so you can arrive stress-free. In the evening, the flotilla leader will host a welcome briefing, sharing the plan for the journey ahead and offering helpful tips for the coming days. Milna itself is a picturesque harbour town - perfectly balancing tranquillity and liveliness. Whether you prefer a quiet evening stroll or mingling with fellow sailors in the local cafes, Milna has something for everyone. A beautiful setting for a relaxed first night on the water.

Day 3

Milna - Stari Grad (Hvar)
After an excellent breakfast and a cup of coffee during the skippers' briefing, we leave for Stari Grad. It is a beautiful town on the island of Hvar. There are beaches for children and many old alleys. There are plenty of supermarkets, ice cream stalls, restaurants, and terraces for a drink. You can also take a taxi to the town of Hvar.

Day 4

Stari Grad - Scedro
After two days of visiting towns, it's time for a beautiful bay. The water here is crystal clear, and you can enjoy swimming and snorkelling. Today we'll sail to Scedro. On the way, you can have lunch in one of the bays in front of the town of Hvar.

Day 5

Scedro - Vis
We leave Scedro today, and you can already see the island of Vis on the horizon. Today will be a fantastic sailing day to Vis. In the harbour of Vis, moorings have been reserved for you, and a surprise is in store.

Day 6

Vis - Brac
The beautiful bay of Lucice is a very popular diving spot, partly because of the cave on the west side of the bay. Because of the sandy soil, sky-blue water is surrounded by pine forests. The restaurants here also offer a rich selection of Dalmatian specialities.

Day 7

Brac - Seget
Today we'll head back to Trogir. Enjoy this last day of sailing and be anchored in bays for swimming or snorkelling.

Day 8

Seget - back home
Time to say goodbye to everyone and go home.

What's the weather like during the May holidays?

It is often already pleasant in Croatia, but in the evening, it can still be cool. You can already swim, with the water temperature typically being around 17 to 20 degrees.

How much experience do I need for this flotilla?

Some sailing experience is desired. You must be able to sail, moor, anchor and navigate independently. You will, of course, get support if it doesn't quite work out in the beginning.

Who will join the May holiday flotilla?

In general, families come with children between 7 and 22 years old. So, young adults are also more than welcome during the May holiday flotilla in Trogir.

Is it better to fly or drive to Trogir?

You can fly as well as by car to Trogir. The airport is a 20-minute drive from Trogir and the marina of the flotilla. By car, you can combine sailing with a holiday in Northern Italy, Slovenia, or Austria, for example. Tubber can help you arrange a transfer with our new service.

Can I also park here for free with the car?

No, you can't park here for free like in Zaton. Parking is possible at the marina for about twelve Euros per day. Next to the port, this is also possible for an average of five euros per day.
