The culinary wine flotilla starts from Dubrovnik, the most beautiful city in Kroatië. Its well-preserved medieval walls make this a wonderful location to start the trip. With its ancient fortresses and palaces, this region takes you back to the Renaissance era. Dubrovnik has been used many times as a movie set, with one of the most famous being Kings Landing from Game of Thrones.

The flotilla takes you to traditional fishing villages, hidden beaches and stone coves. During this burgundy tour you can enjoy fine dining in authentic konoba’s, enjoying stunning views and tasting award-winning Croatian wines. Admire the densely forested islands of Ston, Mljet and Sipan in southern Croatiaë. This culinary wine flotilla includes excursions to vineyards and wine tastings.
Culinary wine flotilla sailing itinerary
Day 1: The base in Dubrovnik
The base is located in the beautiful town of Komolac. This is about a 10-minute drive from downtown Dubrovnik. On the first day, get acquainted with Dubrovnik's castles and palaces. Walk through the marble-paved alleys, where hidden cafés and stores can be found. In addition, you can take the cable car to the top of the mountain, where you'll have stunning views of the historic city.
Day 2: From Dubrovnik to Sudurad, Šipan
From the beautiful old port in Dubrovnik, you will sail to the clear waters of the Adriatic on this culinary wine flotilla. You sail north to the dense Šipan, the largest island in the Elafites. During the sailing trip you will have the opportunity to stop at the beautiful beaches of the island of Lopud. The flotilla moors in Sudurad, where you will have a sheltered berth for the night. In Sudurad you can go visit a 16-century tower, built at the time to protect the town from pirates. A 10-minute walk away you have the vineyard of the family Daničić, here you can taste the award-winning Plavac Mali from 2013.
Day 3: From Sudurad, Šipan to Trstenik, Pelješac

After Sudurad, continue sailing northwest along the beautiful coast of Pelješac. The culinary wine flotilla then continues to the town of Trstenik, one of the oldest inhabited places on this island. This place lies at the foot of a high mountain sign. The sea has incredibly clear water, making this a very nice diving spot. Wine lovers can try the famous Plavac Mali in a restaurant by the water. In the evening you will visit the winery of the Matuško family, here you can taste the famous Dingač wine. The evening will end with a fried peka at the local konoba Antunović.
Day 4: From Trstenik, Pelješac to Lumbarda, Korčula

From Trstenik you will sail to the small fishing town of Lumbarda, located in the west. On the way you will pass beautiful mountains and beaches, here you can take a break from sailing for a nice swim in the water. There are beautiful secluded beaches here where you can enjoy the view. In the bay of Lumbarda there is plenty of room to moor. This place is known for the Grk Bijeli, an aromatic white wine. In the evening you can taste everything southern Croatiaë has to offer. You will go on an agro-excursion to the Bire winery. Here you can taste products such as smoked ham, goat cheese and the homemade macaroni. Of course, there are also great wines here such as the Grk and the Plavac Mali.
Day 5: Free sailing day

During this culinary wine flotilla, you can use this day to go out on your own. The incredibly beautiful landscapes of the Dalmatian coast are nearby. Go on an exploration of the Pearl of the Adriatic, or go back to a place you couldn't get enough of. The flotilla leader can always help you find inspiration, so this day is entirely up to you.
Day 6: Cavtat

Everyone in the culinary wine flotilla will meet again at Cavtat on Day 6. This is a small coastal town some'13 nautical miles from Dubrovnik. This place has a rich history with a lot of cultural heritage. In the many eateries found here, you can admire typical Dalmatian dishes. The freshly caught fish, local vegetables and fresh olive oil will taste delicious after a day on the water. Also to be found here is the Bukovac house. This is the birthplace of the most famous painter from Croatiaë. The house is famous for its architecture, garden and central location in Cavtat.
Day 7: From Cavtat to the base in Dubrovnik

You will leave Cavtat and sail back towards the base in Dubrovnik. During the trip you can take time to visit the Benedictine monastery on the island of Lokrum. You can also see the impressive fortifications in the old town of Dubrovnik. Or sail on to Lopud, where you can have lunch on the beach of Šunj or Misty. This place can only be reached by yacht, as Lopud is car-free.
