Day 1: Zadar - Vrgada
The first day starts with the journey to Zadar. The most convenient way to get there is by plane: there are direct flights from many German airports to Zadar several times a day. Once you arrive at the marina, you can check in to your yacht or catamaran and start your dream sailing trip. The first destination, Vrgada, is famous for its natural beauty. With golden sandy beaches surrounded by pine trees, this island creates an atmosphere that many describe as "the Mediterranean as it once was". A visit to this place feels like a trip back in time. Welcoming tourists on a mule is part of a long tradition.
This island is simply full of authenticity and culture. On Vrgada you can start your exciting journey slowly and relaxed. For those who enjoy peace and nature, this is the perfect opportunity to spend the day on the peaceful beach and gaze at the beautiful starry sky at night.
Day 2: Vrgada - Sali
Our next destination is Sali, the largest village on the island of Dugi Otok. But don't expect a metropolis, as Sali still has fewer than 2,000 inhabitants. This lovely little village has a long history of farming and fishing, so the classic Mediterranean feel is in the air. During your stay, you can admire the landscape of Sali and the centuries-old olive groves that give the island a magical flair.
Day 3: Sali - Kornati islands
The third day takes us to one of the most beautiful places on this sailing route from Zadar. The Kornati archipelago is a national park that is home to over 100 islands and is also known as a nautical paradise. You can choose between two different sailing options here: For experienced sailors, we recommend sailing on the outer side of the archipelago, where the wild open sea makes for some thrilling experiences. However, for those who are less experienced or want a more relaxed time on the water, sailing in the park is a better idea. There you can drop anchor and enjoy the calm and quiet bays under the warm sun.
Day 4: Even more Kornati islands
This archipelago is quite large and has a lot to offer. So why not spend another day here and explore its full potential? You can spend your time admiring the unique flora and fauna of these islands. The special underwater ecosystem offers stunning corals, algae and sponges. On land you will find a variety of herbs and beautiful plants. We recommend you also give the two best activities here a chance - snorkeling and hiking.
Day 5: Kornati islands - Skradin
After enjoying two wonderful days in the Kornati islands, it's time to get back on board and sail to the next beautiful Mediterranean village. With its narrow streets, fascinating history and exquisite cuisine, Skradin is just that. The heritage of this place dates back to the Neolithic Age. Therefore, you can visit ancient ruins and medieval fortresses on this island. One of the monuments you should not miss is the Skradin tower clock on the Square of the Holy Virgin.
Day 6: Skradin - Zlarin
Next on this dream trip is a place often referred to as „the golden island“. Another beautiful Croatian island known for its breathtaking scenery and nature. Zlarin is also unique for its special tradition of coral harvesting. During your stay, take time to explore the pine and cypress forests, golden sandy beaches and breathtaking bays. Also, don't forget to pick up some coral souvenirs when you visit the unique coral museum in the town of Zlarin.
Day 7: Zlarin - Zadar
At the end of this fantastic sailing route from Zadar, it is time to return to the starting point. Once you have dropped off your charter in the marina, you can spend some time exploring Croatia's „coolest city“. After all, Zadar is an up-and-coming cosmopolitan center. This beautiful city has managed to maintain a balance between modern and archaic charm. Here you will find a perfect blend of amazing new attractions such as the solar-powered illuminated floor „Monument to the Sun“ and well-known landmarks such as the Land Gate, which was the main entrance to Zadar in 1543.
