Hanse 458 - 2019

Was a fine boat! A few things took getting used to: you only have 1 jib sheet, so no one has to help when you tack. And in the front there were two sleeping compartments. These were on the small side, sort of 1.5 persons. Really less for the adults in the front, especially if you're not a couple. Other than that, it was a fine equipped boat.

Dufour 470 - 4 cab. - 2022

Smooth check-in and out, yacht well maintained, sails well,. NCP staff are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful sailing area that has something in store for every type of sailor. A top location with a beautiful sailing yacht and a cool crew.

Lagoon 40 - 2019

Yacht ok Poor design features from Lagoon which I hadn’t experienced before: 1. Door handles had sharp edges - all the crew had scares by end of cruise. 2. Draw/cupboard handles as above - if your shorts had pockets you kept catching them 3. BIG ISSUE - you need to be very careful raising the main as it has a double rope on a block with a strap to support the flat top cat sail. If you are not careful you can raise the main and it all gets twisted on the way up and jams at the top. I’ve sailed for 30 years and never had a main sail stuck up. Thank god we happened to be going past the home marina and it was a calm day. Staff had to go to top of mast to sort out! 4. Air con wasn’t very powerful and was only in saloon not cabins! 5. Deck hatches leaked. Rushed tech hand over I will avoid Croatia in future as they want to charge you for everything. You can still find isolated bays to anchor in but try and get anywhere near a place of interest then it’s €100 to just anchor.

Bavaria 36 Cruiser - 2003

In the picture, the boat looks really super good. But in reality, it really is an old boat. On board, all kinds of dings are visibly repaired. Which really gives you the feeling "I'm getting on an old boat". While that is not the feeling you get when you read information about the boat and look at the photos. Sailing technically, the boat sails okay. Sailing high to wind is better over one side than the other, leeches of the sails are outdated but the sails themselves look good. Main sheet is not free without friction. Operating engine handle requires precision and sometimes two hands to operate.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379 - 2014

An excellent mini vacation! The Base Team in Lefkada is very profrssional, any minute available! Neat yacht, nice people in the special environment! Our very special thanks to the Base manager Olga Kouimountzi!

Dufour 560 Grand Large - 2016

Booking and trip preparation through Tubber was good. Ship was very well equipped, but many pieces of equipment (or outdated battery pack) required frequent running of the generator. Lumbar fittings boom was not in order, but otherwise not bothered. Main engine very powerful. Sails a bit outdated, but fine for touring. Service and help from lessor was top!

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 - 2024

Absolutely satisfied. Excellent charter company. New boat, excellent equipment, highly professional staff. I am sure if Greece again I will contact them. Thank you!

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 449 - 2017

Good sailing boat with well-equipped galley (plates, pans, pots, ...). Brand new sails. Everything fine except the anchorwinch which failed. Used correctly but there was discussion. The landlord accused us of overloading the anchor winch. Which in our opinion was not the case. 1 x anchored on sand no stress at all on the chain and on retrieval the anchor motor gave up. If the anchor winch is renewed it is a fine boat.

Bavaria 42 Cruiser - 2007

Boat met expectations. Sleeping cushions were new, though very hard. Fans in the cabins would be very nice. Unfortunately the jib tore on the 2nd day, due to a sharp protrusion from the deck light. This needs to be fixed, in my opinion to avoid this again in the future. Replacing the jib was fortunately done quickly, so we had no delay in the holiday. Attachment points of the dinghy need repair and rope. Otherwise a fine boat, for its age.

Elan 45 - 2003

What a fantastic holiday. Neva looked after us brilliantly. She was very easy to sail. Yes she’s a bit old. Her electrics aren’t great. But value for money Neva was perfect.

Dufour 350 GL - 2016

Excellent boat, service, charter company and country infrastructure. I hadn’t noticed that the Genoa was self-tacking which was a disappointment to my very keen crew but the stern lines were a bit frayed at this point in the season but this was good for my keen crew who happily learnt to whip the ends. Our itinerary was as follows It took until 19.30 for checkin to be completed so stayed in Šibenik the first night. Opat Cove - it’s in the national park and your mooring and park fee gets rollled into your dinner bill so work is out really well. There was a storm and so we stayed an extra day and had to endure the amazing food once more. Electricity. No water. No showers but you can use the toilets. Piskera Marina - a bit more corporate but very helpful with the reverse parking. Zut - lovely place. Picked up a buoy of the Festa restaurant. Again food was good but they rather bumped us into going for the most expensive thing. We should have been stronger. Murter- bigger town, busy marina but a good stopping off point for the next day’s sail to Šibenik. Two really good days sail. Close hauled and reaching. It would be really good to be able to pay for 1 hour of tuition on using the bow thrusters. Managed in the end but would have liked to have had a little instruction. Also out navigation system thought we were in Venezuela but was using the brilliant navionics anyway.

Bavaria Cruiser 46 - 2017

Pleasant landlord. Friendly in dealing with clear explanations (experienced differently in Croatia), careful check-in. Boat well cared for and maintained, no defects. Highly recommended!

Beneteau Oceanis 48 OW. - 2014

Nice spacious ship with enough facilities to go 'off-grid' for longer periods of time. The music system is not bluetooth-ready, which is unfortunate. The ship has space and comfortable beds. The fourth cabin is very suitable for young children, for adults it is cramped. After seven years of charter, you can clearly see signs of use on the ship, on the interior and hull. However, this does not interfere with the sailing pleasure.

Dufour 470 - 2024

Fine boat: new, seas of space below deck and on deck. Good mainsail, jib is self-tacking and therefore less easy to set. Extra cushions for on deck would have been welcome. Preveza is a nice town but requires extra time due to low frequency of bridge opening at Lefkas (2pm, 5pm, 7pm). Wal organisation friendly but somewhat inexperienced : no good boat manual, no area information.

Bavaria 40 - 2008

Lovely week, nice flotilla group . Guidance was good (Sacha) and mainly focused on independence when mooring in the evening, which sometimes caused some hassle in the beginning, especially when mooring (anchoring and 2 floating lines on rocks/trees), but learned a lot as a result. We mainly anchored in several bays with all 8 boats in a row. More fun than in a harbour and therefore also opportunity to swim by the boat in the evening and morning in beautiful clear blue water. Boat met very well, good and detailed explanation from owner on Saturday afternoon, unfortunately we had some problems with remote control anchor winch (wire loose). But overall nice boat, nice group and a very nice week. Nice bays and islands, lots of meals with the whole group. Very pleasant group. Sailed from Athens to Epidaurus-Poros-Idhra-Aegina-Salamis and finally arrived back in Athens on Friday. Extensive Inspection boat on Friday afternoon, incl divers. Left the boat on Saturday morning after a great experience.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389 - 2017

We were able to test this yacht as ourselves for a fortnight with our family. Fine yacht and the people at the base are exceptionally friendly. With 12-14 knots of wind, the boat quickly runs about 6.6 knots, which is fine for this size. We had a lot of wind for a fortnight, so we only used 40 litres of diesel to charge the batteries from time to time.

Bavaria 45 Cruiser - 2012

Well-maintained boat, all necessary amenities were available. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.

Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 - 2019

Tubber is top. Well organised, good communication. We will come back to this organisation. The boat was fine, local charter very satisfied with it. Had a problem for a while. Immediate help and aftercare. Feel free to go.

Bavaria Cruiser 34 - 2019

Lovely week on the water. Enjoyed sailing. Bryan and Carly are nice people who know what they are doing, they are happy to help and have knowledge of sailing and the area. The flotilla was quite large, 11 ships in total. During the day and in port, you didn't notice the size, but if you wanted to have dinner with the group once, you did. That was a bit more difficult. Had "Olympic" games for the kids on the last day, very fun. Flotilla is highly recommended. Unfortunately, lesser experience with the lessor in Croatia, Asta Yachting Charter Sukošan. We have sailed in Croatia before, and this was the first time that the standard cushions that are supposed to be in the cockpit on the wooden floor were not there. We were able to rent other cushions from Asta for €5 a week. This because the standard cushion got lost? A very bad story and unnecessary money-grubbing. Also the Dinghy was leaking, and you couldn't attach the pedals to the dinghy. Reported this also to Asta and expressed our displeasure. Next time, I do not want to rent from Asta again. The yacht itself was otherwise fine, and the above does not apply to Tubber's organisation.

Dufour 382 GL - 2015

Great area to sail, super nice flotilla and ditto flotilla leadership. Boat was only disappointing. Poorly maintained, many (minor) defects.

Bavaria C38 - 2024

Very nice boat with plenty of space for crew and accessories. Everything tip top in order and very well cleaned. Any minor comments we had were immediately taken seriously and resolved. We were even asked about ideas to improve the boat.

Dufour 460 GL '18 - 2018

Fine boat. A bit of an unwieldy happy camper on the water. In terms of sails and sailing characteristics a bit dull.

Bavaria Cruiser 41 - 3 cab. - 2018

Excellent holiday had, chartered via Tubber from Four Seasons Yachting, very friendly and helpful technicians, boats PICKLY put in order, no nonsense briefing beforehand, extensive questioning afterwards so they could technically fix any faults before next hire. Flotilla guidance was çà vas but I would have liked more tourist info on destinations. We had some great sailing days with the icing on the cake being a storm night, FL had anchored us in a bay on the slate side of the island making it a great experience instead of stress. We are looking forward to our seventh Tubbertime in the Med, Tubbertime for us is the plural of me-time....but superlative.

Hanse 460 - 2022

In terms of comfort, this boat was fine. Sailing-wise much less so. The luff of the mainsail was not tight enough, either the sail was mismeasured, or as lent out. Mainsail had no room left at the top of the mast, and sail was still not tight. Then downrigger was also no use, the boom was so against the bimini so you had no trim here either. And then a self-tacking jib, you like it, or you hate it.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44 i - 2010

Very nice holiday. Our boat was a bit less. Especially compared to all the other boats, and besides, we were on the boat together with the companions. We would have liked the choice of a more modern/comfortable boat.
