The License Requirement

If you’re going bareboat, you’ll need to show us:

• A valid sailing license (ICC, RYA Day Skipper, or equivalent national certificate)

• A VHF radio operator’s certificate (required in Croatia, Greece, Italy, and several other destinations)

After meeting the license requirements, you can begin the booking process by using the search function on our booking page to find available Bavaria yachts. Once you find a suitable option, you can submit a request for that specific yacht. If you are a boat owner, you can also add your Bavaria yacht to our platform to reach more customers. When booking online, you can pay for your charter using a credit card or bank transfer. The number of installment payments available depends on how far in advance you book—up to 6 installments for early bookings, or up to 2 for bank transfers. Once your booking is completed, you will receive a confirmation and can register your sailing crew online or via our application before your charter begins.
