Rent a Jeanneau for your carefree sailing holiday
Here at Tubber, we’re excited to introduce Jeanneau yachts charter—a French yacht builder known for smart design, dependable handling, charter-friendly comfort, and a signature elegance that sets its yachts apart. Jeanneau’s story began in 1957, when Henri (Henry) Jeanneau started building boats in France, driven by a passion for powerboating that quickly grew into a world-renowned shipyard. That same year, Henri Jeanneau built his first wooden hull to participate in the 6 Hours of Paris race.
Over the decades, Jeanneau became a benchmark brand for sailors who want a yacht that feels intuitive, practical, and well engineered. The brand’s evolution included a major step in 1958, when Jeanneau built its first fibreglass hull, marking a technological breakthrough in yacht construction. In 1970, Jeanneau launched the Sangria model, one of its most popular boats, selling around 3000 units. Since 1995, Jeanneau has been part of the Groupe Bénéteau family—giving the brand access to industrial expertise, R&D, and strong international support. This partnership helped Jeanneau grow faster and led to the creation of Jeanneau America.
Jeanneau also has a long-standing reputation for innovation in construction methods—early in its history, the shipyard transitioned into fibreglass boatbuilding (a key evolution for modern series-built yachts). In the 2000s, Jeanneau expanded its boatbuilding business and created the world's largest boatbuilding yard of 40 hectares. The result is a yacht lineup that’s consistent in quality and particularly well suited for charter: clear deck layouts, comfortable interiors, and sailing characteristics that work for mixed-experience crews. Jeanneau now has a presence in over 80 countries, providing owners access to an extensive dealer network for spare parts and certified service.
