Croatia has a mild climate. In the summer, it is around 30 degrees. The Mistral is blowing here. The wind force is moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. In May and June, the wind blows a bit harder; in July and August - it less, so ideal for the flotilla. There are few to no waves, so the risk of seasickness is zero.

Plan ahead

Before you leave for your trip, you will need to bring documentation with you. These are the necessary documents: a certificate of navigation, passenger and crew lists, a certificate that proves the sailing ability of the driver, proper insurance, a certificate of authorization to use the boat, and a licence disc or adhesive sticker. Nautical licences are mandatory and can be found at the port master’s office at a port of call. Renting a boat in Croatia takes some thought and requires you to plan.
